The SILC wishes to acknowledge the advocacy efforts of individuals and organizations in promoting the rights and issues facing people with disabilities. Voting Rights of People with Disabilities

Voting, including for people with disabilities, is a fundamental right for a democracy. Carol King-Ries, President of the National Federation of the Blind of Delaware, wrote a brief article about efforts within the state to improve voting access for Delawareans who have visual limitations.
